ZoneAlarm and cutting off applications during mobile broadband access

Verizon (among other carriers) impose strict limits to the amount of data you can download/upload each month. While 5GB (Verizons current limit)
seems ample enough, one can quickly burn through this with automatic software updates, Itunes podcast subscriptions and automatic data backup services (like Carbonite).
It's not feasible to turn off all of these applications everytime I am using my broadband connection.
Does Zonealarm allow a means to automatically block internet access to specific applications for say when I'm connected via broadband and restore internet access to these applications when I'm connected to WIFI?
